  1.

Consult with client to determine the skills, culture, work style and experience required

  2.

Learn the selling points about the job, the company and the hiring manager

  3.

Develop a pitch to attract appropriate candidates

  4.

Generate a recruit plan including list of source companies, candidates to network for referral or interest.

  5.

Qualify candidates against the specifications

  6.

Qualify candidates regarding compensation, travel, commute, etc.

  7.

Cover resignation and counter-offer issues.

  8.

Present a short list of candidates directly to hiring manager for review

  9.

Collect direct and in-direct references, contact references before second interview

  10.

Prepare candidate and hiring manager to achieve optimum interview experience

  11.

De-brief candidate and hiring manager for interest and decision

  12.

Professionally release candidates or move approved candidates to the next step

  13.

Re-qualify interest and trial close candidates regarding compensation, travel, etc.

  14.

Re- cover resignation and counter-offer issues

  15.

Monitor candidate behavior around resignation and counter-offer

  16

Involve client in pre- start date conversations or meeting with candidate

  17.

Speak to candidate the day before start, on start date

  18.

Monitor early days of candidates employment for any concerns
